Prominent Jerusalem Jewelry Merchant and Beloved Arloi Hasid Rabbi Moshe Klein Dies at 79

Rabbi Moshe Klein, a respected figure among the Arloi Hasidim and owner of the well-known 'Klein Jewelry' store in Jerusalem's Geula neighborhood, passed away at the age of 79. Born to Rabbi Chaim Meir Klein of Sarnach and Rebbetzin Rivka Roiza, he was a devoted student of the revered Rabbi Meir Dushinsky, the late Gaavad of the Edah HaChareidis. Rabbi Klein married the daughter of Rabbi Chaim Nach Zikerman and was known for his integrity, kindness, and dedication to his community.

For decades, he was recognized in Jerusalem as an honest and trustworthy businessman, warmly welcoming every customer at his jewelry store. He was deeply committed to his faith, regularly attending synagogues and study halls, and was devoted to preserving the legacy of his Arloi spiritual leaders. Rabbi Klein raised a large, observant family engaged in Torah and mitzvot, leaving behind many children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

His brothers are Rabbi Natan Yosef and Rabbi Ephraim Menachem. Rabbi Klein’s funeral took place on Sunday night, departing from the Shamgar Funeral Home in Jerusalem to Har HaMenuchot cemetery, attended by family, friends, and community members. The family is sitting shiva at their home on Torat Chesed Street in Jerusalem. May his soul be bound in the bond of life.
