Haredi 'Big Brother' Contestant Yanki Goldhaber Reveals He Survived Two Rapes

Yanki Goldhaber, a Haredi content creator and finalist on the 2023 season of Israel's "Big Brother," disclosed on Instagram that he was raped twice, once during his yeshiva studies and again about a year ago. He described how the assaults began with seemingly innocent compliments that escalated into intimate conversations used to manipulate and harm him. Goldhaber emphasized that rape includes both physical and technological abuse, and revealed he had lived in fear for years, afraid that his abusers would expose damaging information about him.

Goldhaber declared he is no longer afraid and vowed to fight back against his attackers, stating, "I will defeat you. You will pay for your actions." He also highlighted that many young people suffer similar abuse and called for an end to this cycle of violence.

At 20 years old, Goldhaber participated in the 13th season of "Big Brother," which aired on Channel 13 in 2023, and later enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces to encourage Haredi enlistment. Alongside his military role, he continues to create social media content. His public revelation aims to raise awareness and support victims of sexual abuse within the community.
