Five New Settlements Established in West Bank Within 24 Hours of Gilad Farm Attack

Following a deadly attack near Gilad Farm in the West Bank, five new settlement points were established within 24 hours to honor the memory of Binyahu Malat, who was killed in the incident. The attack, which also claimed the life of Lieutenant Colonel Yuval Ezra, occurred near the village of Tal, from where the assailants originated. Malat, a resident of Gilad Farm and a member of the local security team, arrived at the scene after a group of hikers was attacked. During the confrontation, security forces lost a weapon, and subsequent gunfire resulted in the deaths of Malat and Ezra.

Three of the new settlement points were set up around Gilad Farm, including one at the exact site of the attack and others along the Gilad route and near the village of Tal. These locations were chosen to strengthen the Jewish presence in the area. The other two points were established on Mount Ebal near Joshua's Altar and in the Mekhmatat Valley close to the village of Awarta and the Samaria Territorial Brigade base.

The organizers stated that Malat was actively involved in promoting settlement initiatives, preserving heritage sites, and reinforcing Israeli presence in the region. They intend to continue his legacy by establishing additional settlement points in the coming days. This initiative is described as a definitive response to terrorism and a tribute to Malat's lifelong work.
