Indictment Filed in Fatal Kidnapping Attempt Linked to Debt Dispute
The Haifa District Attorney’s Office has filed an indictment in the Haifa District Court against Adam Dragmeh, 22, of Kafr Manda, over the attempted abduction and killing of Muhammad Faraj Taha, 30.
According to the indictment, Dragmeh acted with two other people after Taha had an unpaid debt to unidentified individuals. The three allegedly planned to kidnap Taha and use violence against him in order to force payment.
They arranged to meet Taha, and when he saw them holding clubs, he ran away. Prosecutors say Dragmeh then drove into Taha in an effort to stop him from escaping, killing him at the scene.
