Spanish media, including journalist Nacho Bravo from "La Copa," have declared the deal "closed," showing images of Walker in Real Madrid gear. Other outlets remain cautious but agree the move is imminent. Analyst Sergio Vegas highlighted Walker's potential fit with Real Madrid, noting that while he faced challenges adapting in Israel, the new environment could better showcase his skills as the team’s system is less dependent on him individually.

Walker is currently under contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv, earning $2.2 million per season. His NBA exit option has expired, so any EuroLeague transfer requires Maccabi's approval.
