Bnei Herzliya Signs DJ Bruton, Polish League All-Star Swingman

Bnei Herzliya has officially signed American swingman DJ Bruton (26, 1.93m) for the 2026/27 basketball season, with an option for an additional year. Bruton, who was named to the Polish League All-Star team last season, has demonstrated strong performances across Europe. He began his professional career in Lithuania with Uniaza, averaging 14 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game, earning spots on the league's foreign and second teams.

In the 2025/26 season, Bruton started with Italy's Udine, averaging 9.1 points and 3.7 rebounds over 14 games before transferring to Legia Warsaw in Poland. There, he led the team to the league championship, posting averages of 14.5 points, 4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists, and was named to the Polish League's foreign all-star team.

Bnei Herzliya's coach, Yehou Orland, praised Bruton as a versatile player capable of playing three positions, a strong defender, and a clutch performer in playoffs. Orland highlighted Bruton's potential for further growth and expressed eagerness to integrate him into the team.
