Rabbanit Chen Alon, Wife of Or Akiva Community Rabbi, Passes Away at 45

Rabbanit Chen Alon, wife of Rabbi Tzvi Alon, the community rabbi of Or Akiva and former secretary-general of the global Bnei Akiva movement, passed away at the age of 45 after a prolonged illness. She was born Rosenthal and had been battling her disease for several years. Her funeral took place on Friday at the cemetery in Caesarea. Rabbi Tzvi Alon previously served as the community rabbi in Caesarea and held the position of secretary-general of Bnei Akiva worldwide. The family is sitting shiva at their home on Meir Amit Street 9 in Or Akiva. During the shiva period, morning prayers will be held at 7:00 AM and afternoon prayers at 7:30 PM.
