Suspect Arrested in Shooting at Jisr az-Zarqa

Israel Police have arrested a suspect in the shooting of a man in Jisr az-Zarqa that took place on May 27. Investigators identified the main suspect in the incident and detained him as part of Operation "Iron Net," a police campaign against serious crime in Arab society.

The suspect was taken to a police station for questioning and later placed in custody. Police said they will ask a court to extend his detention.
