Suspect Arrested for Shooting at Business Owned by Family of Ar'ara Council Head

On June 25, a shooting occurred at a business owned by relatives of the head of the Ar'ara local council, located near his residence. Following the incident, the Coastal District Criminal Investigation Unit (Yam'ar Hof) launched an investigation that included various investigative measures and the use of technological tools. These efforts led to identifying and arresting a suspect connected to the shooting. The suspect was taken into custody for questioning at the Yam'ar Hof offices and subsequently detained. The court extended the suspect's detention until July 23, 2026, based on the investigation's needs and findings. Police stated they will continue to combat violent crimes and shootings and ensure that those involved are held accountable.
