Israeli Police Use Leaked Intelligence to Quickly Arrest Suspects in Crime Gang Grenade Attacks

In recent weeks, a violent grenade conflict has erupted between two Israeli crime organizations, the Musli and the Jarushi gangs, with nearly nightly grenade attacks targeting businesses, private homes, and residential buildings across Israel. Most recently, a stun grenade was thrown at a residential building in Ramat Gan. Police and detectives from the Central District Unit (YAMAR Shfela) swiftly arrested suspects within minutes of the attack.

The rapid arrests were made possible by leaked intelligence from within the crime gangs, which allowed police to prepare in advance and apprehend suspects shortly after the incident. According to police sources, the ongoing grenade war stems from the rivalry between the Musli and Jarushi crime groups, a conflict first revealed about two weeks ago.

However, police note that the gang leaders themselves are not directly involved in the grenade attacks. Instead, they operate through intermediaries or contractors who carry out the violent acts. This operational method complicates efforts to reach the top leaders and effectively grants them a form of immunity, as those arrested are primarily the field operatives.
