Hapoel Be'er Sheva's Kings Kangwa Nears Transfer to Panathinaikos for Up to 4 Million Euros

Hapoel Be'er Sheva is close to transferring one of its most notable foreign players, Kings Kangwa, to Greek club Panathinaikos. Reports from Greece indicate that Kangwa, who has also been in talks with AEK Athens, has agreed to terms with Panathinaikos. The midfielder is expected to earn an annual salary between 600,000 and 750,000 euros. The transfer fee is reported to be between 3.5 and 4 million euros.

Panathinaikos, whose last Greek league title was in the 2009/10 season, finished fourth in the most recent campaign. The team is coached by Danish manager Glen Neystroem and features notable players such as goalkeeper Iñaki Peña, who joined from Barcelona, former AC Milan defender Davide Calabria, and Dutch player Stefan de Vrij.
