Thousands Unite in Singing Circles at Western Wall to Mark End of Tisha B'Av Fast

On Thursday evening, as the Tisha B'Av fast concludes, thousands of worshippers and visitors will gather at the Western Wall plaza in Jerusalem for singing circles and a unity event. The gathering is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM, shortly before the fast ends. This annual tradition at the Western Wall aims to transition from mourning the destruction of the Temples to expressing consolation and hope.

Following hours of prayer and lamentations, participants will come together in singing circles to close the day of mourning with a shared atmosphere of connection. The event is organized by the Western Wall Heritage Foundation, which expects thousands to attend in person alongside many more joining remotely.
