Tensions Rise as Shuli Rand's First Wife Refuses Divorce Amid Public Accusations

Michal Rand, the first wife of Israeli singer and actor Shuli Rand, has refused to accept the divorce (get) he granted her several years ago. Despite Shuli Rand receiving a special permit from the Rabbinical Court to marry his current partner, Tzofit Grant, Michal continues to publicly criticize the couple through live broadcasts and social media posts.

In an interview with Erez Tal on the show "What Really Happened There?" airing on Channel 12, Tzofit Grant addressed these ongoing accusations. She described Michal as "a real tragedy" and dismissed her claims as untrue, particularly the allegations that Shuli Rand is not in contact with his children. Grant emphasized that Shuli maintains an excellent, supportive, and sensitive relationship with his children.

Grant also revealed that she has faced verbal abuse from others influenced by Michal's statements, including harsh insults and wishes of illness. She expressed frustration over the situation, noting that Michal's public displays of suffering and incoherence have led to misplaced blame and hostility towards her. The interview is scheduled to air on Friday after the evening news on Channel 12.
