President Herzog Calls Samaria Regional Council Head After Terror Attacks

Israeli President Isaac Herzog spoke on Thursday with Yossi Dagan, head of the Samaria Regional Council, following recent terror attacks in the Samaria (Shomron) region. During the conversation, Herzog expressed deep shock over the attacks and extended his support to Dagan and the local residents. He wished a speedy and full recovery to the seriously injured victim, Itamar Cohen, and sent strength to Cohen's wife, Keren, and their family.

Herzog also expressed hope that Israel's security forces would act swiftly to bring the perpetrators to justice and restore security to the area. In response, Yossi Dagan affirmed the resilience of the Samaria settlements, stating that the community remains strong and unbroken despite the violence.
