Israeli Forces Kill Hamas Naval Operative Involved in October 7 Attack

Israeli military and Shin Bet announced the killing of Abdullah Jaha, a Hamas naval unit operative involved in the October 7 massacre. The operation took place on Tuesday in northern Gaza Strip. Jaha had been actively promoting maritime terror attacks against Israeli forces and civilians during the recent conflict.

Alongside Jaha, two other Hamas military wing members were killed: Mohammad Al-Hawari, a squad leader in the Zaytoun Battalion, and Tzvahi Sakalla, an observation operative in the same battalion. All three were engaged in planning and executing terror activities targeting Israeli soldiers and civilians. Their elimination was aimed at neutralizing ongoing threats in the maritime arena.

The Israeli military emphasized that these actions are part of broader efforts to dismantle terror infrastructures operating against Israel, particularly in the coastal domain. The announcement underscores the continued focus on Hamas operatives responsible for attacks during and after the October 7 assault.
