Israeli Police Find Hidden 9mm Pistol and Ammunition in Shibli Yard, Arrest Suspect

Israeli police and Border Police fighters conducting a search in the yard of a house in the Arab village of Shibli uncovered a hidden 9mm Glock pistol, a matching magazine loaded with ammunition, and 5.56 caliber rifle rounds concealed underground. The operation was part of an ongoing, intensive effort by the Northern District police and Border Police to combat crime and illegal weapons possession in the area. The suspect, a 34-year-old local resident, was arrested at the scene and brought in for questioning at the police station. Following the investigation, he was detained and is currently being brought before the court for a hearing.
