Man Severely Wounded in Suspected Stabbing Attack Amid West Bank Fire Clash

A 51-year-old man was seriously injured in a suspected stabbing attack on Thursday during a confrontation between settlers and Palestinians near a fire outbreak close to the Alon Moreh settlement in the West Bank. The victim was stabbed five times, according to eyewitnesses. The incident occurred after Palestinians allegedly set fire at the Avraham Road farm, prompting settlers to arrive and attempt to extinguish the blaze, which led to the violent clash. Two Palestinians were neutralized at the scene.

Israeli emergency medic Israel Arbus reported that while securing the fire area, civilians alerted them to the stabbing victim. The medical team provided life-saving treatment, including hemorrhage control, and evacuated the man to the hospital in serious condition with assistance from IDF medical forces. Earlier this week, two Palestinians were arrested on suspicion of involvement in a fire set at the Gilad farm in the West Bank on Saturday. The arrests were made by Border Police and IDF soldiers, and the suspects were transferred to the Central Unit for Judea and Samaria for investigation.

The Gilad farm committee demanded a thorough investigation and severe punishment for those responsible, labeling the act as terrorism. Last month, retired sergeant major Haim Klomiti was killed in a shooting attack in the Sharon area. Klomiti, 55, a member of the Ephraim Brigade's territorial defense and a security team member from Tzur Natan, was shot by an Arab-Israeli assailant from Tayibe, who was killed after a brief pursuit. Five others were wounded in that attack, two seriously.
