Man Stabbed in Neck and Body in Violent Incident in Bnei Brak

A 37-year-old man was stabbed in the neck and body on Trumpeldor Street in Bnei Brak on Wednesday morning. The victim, an avrech (Torah scholar), was trying to intervene in a violent dispute between his son and a suspect when he was attacked. Emergency medical teams from United Hatzalah arrived first at the scene, providing immediate treatment including stopping the bleeding and bandaging the wounds. The man was then evacuated to Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer in moderate condition with penetrating injuries.

According to United Hatzalah medics Lazer Margalit, Michael Tzuri, and Yehuda Hildesheim, the victim suffered serious wounds but was stabilized before transport. The violent altercation reportedly began when the suspect initiated a confrontation with the avrech's son. The avrech attempted to separate the parties and protect his son, leading to his stabbing by the suspect.

The police have launched an investigation to locate and apprehend the suspect involved in the stabbing. The incident has raised concerns following a recent case in Bnei Brak where a police officer was convicted of excessive force. The suspect in this stabbing remains at large as authorities continue their search.
