Israeli Police Arrest Illegal Resident Posing as Medical Worker in Holon Restaurant

The suspect claimed to be an Israeli resident when questioned, but police verification revealed his illegal status. The restaurant owner was also detained on suspicion of employing an illegal resident. The arrests occurred during a targeted operation by Holon police and a rapid response unit aimed at combating illegal residency and related offenses such as illegal employment and housing. Both suspects are currently under investigation, and police plan to request an extension of their detention from the court.
