Kamarna Rebbe Praises New Volumes of 'Zohar Bnei Heichala' Kabbalah Series
A special delegation from the "Zohar Bnei Heichala" project visited the Kamarna Rebbe in Beit Shemesh to present the newly released third and fourth volumes of their illuminated and elucidated Zohar series. The delegation was led by Rabbi Eliyahu Yisrael Ashlag, president of the project and head of the "Itur HaRabbanim" kollels. During the visit, the Rebbe examined the volumes for over an hour, reviewing the commentary structure and various sections, expressing great admiration for the clarity and comprehensive nature of the work.
The "Zohar Bnei Heichala" series aims to open the gates of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai's teachings to all learners, enabling in-depth and clear study of the Zohar. Since the release of the initial volumes, the series has received enthusiastic responses from scholars, lecturers, and veteran Kabbalists who praised its ability to provide new insights and understanding of complex Zoharic concepts. The project is based on the teachings and efforts of the Ashlag Rebbe, the grandson and successor of the famed Kabbalist known as the "Sulam."
The volumes uniquely present clear commentary alongside sections that help learners grasp foundational Kabbalistic concepts, ethical teachings, halachic rulings derived from the Zohar, and traditions from the Arizal and other great masters. The delegation also reported on the rapid progress of the project, including the establishment of "Bnei Heichala" study groups in yeshivas worldwide and a growing community of learners regularly studying the Zohar thanks to this accessible commentary.
The Kamarna Rebbe, whose community has a deep tradition of studying the inner dimensions of Torah and spreading the light of the Zohar, warmly praised the project as highly significant for the current generation. He wrote an enthusiastic approbation for the volumes, commending the editors and distributors and blessing them to continue their sacred work by publishing further volumes and expanding the study of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai's teachings throughout Israel.
