Kamarna Rebbe Praises New Accessible Commentary on Zohar Series

A special delegation from the "Bnei Haichala" project visited the Kamarna Rebbe in Beit Shemesh to present the newly published third and fourth volumes of the "Zohar Bnei Haichala" series on the Book of Leviticus, completing the set of four volumes. Rabbi Eliyahu Israel Ashlag, president of the project and head of the "Itur HaRabbanim" kollels for revealed and hidden Torah study, led the delegation. The Kamarna Rebbe thoroughly examined the new books, focusing on the commentary's structure, sections, and editorial order, expressing deep admiration for the clarity and unprecedented accessibility of the Zohar text now offered to learners.

During the visit, the Rebbe highlighted the uniqueness of the work, which presents clear commentary alongside comprehensive sections on a single page, likening it to a "Shulchan Aruch" for the Zohar where all necessary study materials are consolidated. He also attributed profound historical significance to the project, recalling the vision of the "Chozeh of Lublin" who aspired to revive Jewish study by producing a Zohar commentary accessible to every soul. The Rebbe praised the author of the commentary, Rabbi Ashlag, grandson of the "Saraf HaSulam," for dedicating years to this endeavor.

The Kamarna dynasty has a deep-rooted tradition in studying Torah mysticism and spreading the light of the Zohar. The Rebbe warmly blessed the project leaders to continue expanding the study of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai's teachings among the Jewish people.
