Police probe possible car-ramming incidents at protests in Petah Tikva and Jerusalem
Police are investigating two suspected vehicle ramming incidents that left a 93-year-old man and a 21-year-old man moderately injured during Haredi protests and road blockades on Thursday evening, June 11, 2026, in Petah Tikva and Jerusalem. The older man was hit by a car on Jabotinsky Road near the Geha Interchange in Petah Tikva and was evacuated to Beilinson Hospital with a head injury. According to reports from the scene, the driver tried to flee, and the crowd surrounded the car before the collision.

Shortly afterward, a 21-year-old man was hit by a car during a protest on Route 1 near the Ganot Interchange and was taken to a hospital in Jerusalem with injuries to his limbs and head.
