Eliyahu Livman Joins Noam Party Ahead of Israeli Elections

Eliyahu Livman, former head of the Kiryat Arba council and father of the late captive Elikim Livman, confirmed in an interview with Channel 7 that he has joined the Noam party ahead of the upcoming Knesset elections. Livman joined without any conditions or guaranteed spot on the party list, but he is expected to be placed among the top candidates. Earlier on the day of the announcement, he received a blessing from Rabbi David Abuhatzeira as he embarks on his public mission.

Meanwhile, Rabbi Tzvi Tau, president of the Har Hamor Yeshiva and spiritual leader of Noam, convened an emergency meeting with dozens of city and settlement rabbis, yeshiva heads, and community leaders to prepare for the election campaign. Rabbi David Giyami, head of the Teshuva movement "Hashivenu," opened the meeting by emphasizing the public's strong desire for a significant and influential Noam party.

Rabbi Tau praised Noam chairman MK Avi Maoz, highlighting his growing influence and the party's expanding activities. Maoz stated that Noam is renewing itself in this election cycle, focusing on education, which he claims has been neglected while foreign influences infiltrate the system. He noted receiving many appeals from the national-religious public to protect the education system, describing the election as a battle for the sanctity of national Torah institutions, which he says are the most disadvantaged.
