Noam Party Holds Emergency Conference Ahead of Elections with Support from Shin Bet Chief's Father

Rabbi Tzvi Israel Tau, spiritual leader of the Noam party and president of the Har Hamor Yeshiva, convened an emergency meeting with over 100 city and community rabbis, yeshiva heads, and community leaders to prepare for the upcoming elections. The gathering included a presentation of Noam's campaign strategy, focusing on preserving the right-wing bloc, defending Jewish education values, and protecting Israel's Jewish identity.

Rabbi David Giyami, head of the Shuvu Teshuva movement, opened the conference, highlighting strong grassroots support for Noam. Rabbi Tau praised Noam chairman MK Avi Maoz, emphasizing his growing influence and leadership. He also noted a rising desire among people to join the party's efforts ahead of the elections.

Maoz outlined the campaign's central themes, criticizing the neglect of education issues by the political establishment and warning against foreign influences infiltrating the education system. He stressed the fight to preserve the purity of national Torah study, which he described as severely marginalized.

Rabbi Amiel Sternberg, head of Har Hamor Yeshiva, called for unity within the community, lamenting internal divisions and urging people to come together "as one person with one heart." Among the attendees was Rabbi Yosef Zini, father of Shin Bet chief David Zini, along with other rabbis who offered their blessings for Noam's election campaign.
