Ashlag Rebbe Leads Midnight Prayer at Father's Grave on 10th Yahrzeit in Jerusalem

On the recent Friday night, the Ashlag Rebbe, son of the late Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef Halevi Ashlag, led a solemn prayer gathering at his father's gravesite in the Ashlag section of Har HaMenuchot cemetery in Jerusalem. The event marked the tenth yahrzeit (anniversary of passing) of Rabbi Ashlag, known as the author of "Yesod Yosef." The Rebbe arrived after midnight, beginning with Maariv prayers, followed by an hour-long session of heartfelt prayer and supplications for mercy. Participants recited Psalms and prayed for the welfare and healing of individuals and the community.

Following the prayers, the Rebbe conducted a special "L'Chaim" ceremony near the grave, sharing Torah teachings and spiritual inspiration drawn from his father's works. He emphasized the unique sanctity of the site as a place where prayers are accepted and hearts are stirred toward divine service. The gathering took place near the graves of both his father and grandfather in the Ashlag Rebbes' section of Har HaMenuchot.

Throughout the ascent to the grave, attendees experienced a deep spiritual awakening, recalling the late Rebbe's dedication to Torah, prayer, and Hasidic devotion. In the days surrounding the yahrzeit, many continue to visit the holy site to pray, seeking the merit of Rabbi Ashlag to protect and bring salvation to all of Israel.
