Blue Bird Airlines Cuts Round-Trip Fares to Popular Summer Destinations from Israel

Blue Bird Airlines, a Greek carrier with Israeli ownership, has launched a promotional campaign offering round-trip flights to several popular destinations for as low as 125 euros. The discounted fares apply to routes from Ben Gurion Airport to locations including Larnaca (125 euros), Rhodes (139 euros), Crete (142 euros), and Paphos (149 euros), with prices capped at 159 euros for other destinations. This offer targets travelers flying just before the Jewish fast of Tisha B'Av or in early September, between the summer vacation and Rosh Hashanah, when flight prices typically peak.

In addition to the fare reductions, Blue Bird announced an expansion of its weekly flights to Amsterdam, increasing to three flights per week starting July 27, 2026. The airline cited rising demand as the reason for this increase, with one-way fares to Amsterdam starting at 174 euros. A company spokesperson stated, "We are proud to deepen our operations from Ben Gurion Airport to Amsterdam due to growing demand. Passengers choose us for convenient flight times and attractive prices. As demand continues to rise, we will work to further increase capacity on this route during summer 2026 to offer a wider and more flexible selection of flights."

This move by Blue Bird provides Israeli travelers with more affordable options during the peak summer holiday season and reflects the airline's strategy to capitalize on increasing passenger demand on key European routes.
