Israel Reports Iran Moved Thousands of Uranium Enrichment Centrifuges to Mountain Site After Strikes

Israeli intelligence assesses that Iran transferred thousands of uranium enrichment centrifuges to tunnels deep within Mount Makuh last fall, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal citing officials from Israel and the United States. The intelligence findings were shared with the U.S., with Israel noting that the centrifuge relocation occurred following Operation 'With the Dog' in June 2025, during which Israel bombed Iran's three main nuclear sites.

Meanwhile, the U.S. military announced the completion of another round of strikes in Iran targeting command centers, naval units, missile and drone sites, and air defense systems. These operations aim to degrade Iran's capability to attack civilian vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. Since May, U.S. Central Command has assisted approximately 900 ships in transiting the Strait and the export of around 450 million barrels of oil, underscoring ongoing efforts to secure maritime navigation and energy supplies in the region.
