Maccabi Haifa Loans Jamaican Forward Trevin Stewart to Turkish Club Gaziantep
Maccabi Haifa has officially loaned Jamaican striker Trevin Stewart to the Turkish club Gaziantep Gazisehir for the upcoming season. Stewart, who joined Maccabi Haifa last season from Serbian club Radnicki for 1.5 million euros, will spend one year on loan with an option for Gaziantep to purchase him for 1.2 million euros.
During his debut season with Maccabi Haifa, Stewart scored 12 goals in 36 appearances across all competitions, averaging a goal every 152 minutes. His departure frees up a forward position in the squad, allowing the club to finalize the signing of Serbian-American striker Andrea Novakovic, who will join on a free transfer and is expected to be officially announced soon.
Maccabi Haifa continues to actively rebuild its roster ahead of the new season, with Stewart's loan move marking a significant step in their squad adjustments.
