Bnei Brak Hosts Major Preparatory Event for Yeshiva Students Advancing to Larger Institutions

In Bnei Brak, hundreds of young men completing their third-year yeshiva studies gathered for a significant preparatory event ahead of their transition to larger yeshivas. The event took place at Heichalei Malchut halls and was organized by the Shavti and Hakshiva organizations in cooperation with the Bnei Brak municipality. It aimed to provide the students with guidance and tools for this important new stage in their religious education.

The gathering was led by Rabbi Yosef Niazoff and featured speeches from prominent rabbinical figures, including Rabbi Masoud Ben Shimon, head of the Or Elitzur Yeshiva, and other leading yeshiva heads such as Rabbi Chanoch Cohen, Rabbi Yosef Lasri, and Rabbi Yaakov Sharbani. Rabbi Goel Elkareef, head of Derech Chaim Yeshiva, opened the event with an inspiring blessing, encouraging the students to approach their new studies with seriousness and gratitude.

A special panel followed, with Rabbi Yosef Chaim Suisa, Rabbi Avishai Israel, and Rabbi Chananya Kadosh answering students' questions about the challenges of moving from smaller to larger yeshivas and strategies for spiritual growth and perseverance. Bnei Brak’s mayor, Rabbi Chanoch Zeibert, also addressed the students, sharing practical advice from his extensive experience in education.

The organizers expressed gratitude to all contributors, especially the Shavti and Hakshiva organizations and the Bnei Brak municipality representatives Rabbi Eliyahu Shushan and Rabbi Shlomi Elharar, who actively supported the event. At the conclusion, participants received high-quality suitcases to assist them in starting their new yeshiva term well-prepared and equipped.
