Thousands of Yeshiva Students Gather in Bnei Brak for Annual 'Preparation Order' Event by Darshu

Approximately 4,000 students from smaller yeshivas convened in Bnei Brak for the annual 'Seder Hachana' (Preparation Order) event organized by Darshu, marking its 20th year. The gathering aims to provide guidance, knowledge, and wisdom to students preparing to advance to larger yeshivas during the upcoming month of Elul.

Prominent Torah leaders addressed the assembly, including Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch, Rosh Yeshiva, who outlined five key points for students entering major yeshivas and emphasized the importance of perseverance on the correct path to achieve great spiritual illumination. A special Q&A session with Rabbi Dovid Lando, another Rosh Yeshiva, was broadcast, addressing relevant questions for students aspiring to join the Beit El yeshiva.

Additional guidance was offered by Rabbi David Cohen, Rosh Yeshiva of Hebron and member of the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah, and Rabbi Masoud Ben Shimon, Rosh Yeshiva of Or HaTalmud and community leader in Bnei Brak. A panel discussion featured leading Roshei Yeshiva including Rabbi Yehoshua Eichenstein of Yad Aharon, Rabbi Chaim Peretz Berman, and Rabbi Israel Bonim Schreiber, moderated by Rabbi Binyamin Birenzweig, a senior lecturer at Yeshivat Amrei Moshe.

The event opened with remarks from Rabbi Yaakov Sternshus, Mashgiach at Shaarei Shemuot Yeshiva. At the conclusion, participants received special gifts including the books 'HaMafteach' and 'Chafetz Chaim' on the Mishnah Berurah published by Darshu, as well as a unique instructional booklet compiled by leading Torah authorities specifically for this event. This booklet contains essential guidance for yeshiva students seeking to advance in Torah study and fear of Heaven.
