Samaria Council Head Demands Clear Recognition of Arson in Gilad Farm Fire

Following the Israeli police announcement of arrests related to the fire at Gilad Farm, Yossi Dagan, head of the Samaria Regional Council, responded on Monday. He praised the Israel Police, Border Police, and Samaria Brigade for apprehending suspects linked to the arson that damaged dozens of buildings and vehicles. Dagan called on all authorities to officially recognize that the fire was deliberately set, emphasizing the serious damage caused and the fortunate absence of fatalities.

The Israeli military also arrested two suspects in connection with the fire. Dagan urged the Israeli government to immediately begin restoring the destroyed infrastructure and homes, working in coordination with the Samaria Regional Council and the local community committee to return life to normal. He concluded by affirming that Gilad Farm will continue to grow and thrive, driven by its strong Zionist spirit and unique community.
