Finance Minister Smotrich Welcomes New Son Four Months After Son's Serious Injury

Four months after being seriously wounded in a battle on the Lebanon border, Be'ni Smotrich and his wife Tamar have welcomed their second son. The birth took place at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, where Be'ni had been hospitalized following his injury, marking an emotional full circle for the family.

Tamar Smotrich gave birth on Sunday to the couple's new baby, making the arrival especially poignant given the recent trauma. Be'ni Smotrich, son of Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and his wife Revital, was severely injured in combat just months ago.

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich shared his feelings about the event, saying, "Be'ni was seriously injured in battle only a few months ago, and thank God we got him back miraculously. Revital and I returned today to the excellent Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital corridors, but this time to embrace our sweet grandson, the son of our dear Be'ni and Tamar." He added, "Tamar the heroine and Be'ni the hero, we love you and are very happy with you! Am Yisrael Chai."
