Jeff Dowtin Jr. Joins Napoli for EuroCup After Leaving Maccabi Tel Aviv
Jeff Dowtin Jr., who parted ways with Maccabi Tel Aviv before the end of last season, has officially signed with Napoli, a relatively new team competing in the EuroCup. This move marks Dowtin's second season playing in Europe. Although he was previously in negotiations with AEK Athens, he ultimately decided against joining the Greek club and chose to continue his career in Italy with Napoli, a club founded just ten years ago.
In the previous season, Dowtin averaged 8.1 points, 2.4 assists, and 1.1 rebounds in 17 minutes per game during the EuroLeague with Maccabi Tel Aviv. Additionally, in the Israeli Premier League regular season, he posted averages of 9.6 points and 4.3 assists in 21.5 minutes per game. Napoli's signing of Dowtin adds an experienced player to their roster as they compete in the EuroCup this season.
