Hanan Yablonka Executed in Gaza Hospital After Being Wounded in Hamas Attack

New harrowing details have emerged about the final moments and execution of Hanan Yablonka, a 42-year-old Israeli abducted and killed by Hamas militants during the surprise attack on Simchat Torah morning. Yablonka was shot in the chest at the Nova music festival in Re'im and then brutally dragged onto a Hamas truck into Gaza. Despite being severely wounded, he was taken to a hospital within Gaza where, instead of receiving medical care, local doctors reportedly decided to execute him. Hamas militants shot him three times in the head while he lay helpless in a hospital bed, indicating direct involvement of medical staff in the murder, a gross violation of medical ethics.

Following the killing, Hamas concealed Yablonka's body by placing it in a bag and hiding it inside a tunnel in northern Gaza near Jabalia, alongside other hostages who were also killed. The bodies remained hidden until a special operation by the IDF and Shin Bet recovered them for burial in Israel. These revelations were shared by Yablonka's sister, Avivit Yablonka Abadi, during a delegation of survivors, released prisoners, and families of hostages visiting London this month.

The brutal killing adds to mounting evidence of Hamas's cruelty towards hostages. Meanwhile, the IDF continues targeting Hamas operatives involved in the massacre and hostage-taking, recently eliminating a Hamas commander responsible for holding hostages and documenting their captivity.
