Father Sentenced to Over 20 Years for Sexual Abuse of Daughter and Partner

The Central District Court in Lod sentenced a man to 20 years and three months in prison for severe sexual offenses against his toddler daughter and his partner. The daughter was about three years old when the abuse occurred. The court also imposed a suspended sentence and ordered the defendant to pay 150,000 shekels in compensation to both victims.

According to the prosecution, the defendant repeatedly sexually assaulted his daughter, including acts of rape and indecent acts, while she was immobilized and watching his phone. The abuse was recorded on a camera installed by the complainant after she suspected the abuse. Additionally, the defendant raped his partner on three separate occasions while she was asleep.

He was convicted of four counts of rape of a minor under 16 who is a family member, multiple indecent acts against his daughter, and three counts of rape of his partner by exploiting her inability to give free consent. The presiding judge, A. Kovo, described the case as exceptionally severe, even compared to other serious incest cases.

Iris Picker Segal, the Central District prosecutor who led the case, stated that the lengthy prison sentence reflects the extreme severity of the crimes and the immense harm caused to the victims. She also praised the complainant's courage in exposing the abuse, testifying in court, and showing exceptional determination.
