Lebanese Soldier Killed by Hezbollah-Planted Bomb in Southern Lebanon
A Lebanese Army vehicle detonated an explosive device in the Al-Mansouri area of southern Lebanon, resulting in the death of one Lebanese soldier and injuries to two others. The incident occurred in a zone where Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have not been present recently. Following an investigation, it was determined that the explosive was not planted by the IDF but by the Hezbollah terrorist organization. The IDF also stated that the Lebanese vehicle entered the security zone without prior coordination, which is required under the existing coordination mechanism. The IDF urged civilians and military forces in the area to avoid entering zones where Hezbollah poses a threat and to coordinate movements in advance to ensure their safety.
