IDF Confirms Hezbollah Planted Explosive That Killed Lebanese Soldier in South Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) addressed an incident in which a Lebanese army soldier was killed and two others wounded by an explosion. The IDF spokesperson stated that after investigation, the explosive device was not Israeli but was likely planted by Hezbollah. The event took place in the Al-Mansouri area within the security zone in southern Lebanon, where Israeli forces have not been present recently. It was also noted that Lebanese army vehicles entered the security zone without prior coordination with the IDF, which is required under the existing coordination mechanism.
