Israeli Paramedic Arrested for Sexual Offenses Against 15-Year-Old Boy in Bnei Brak

Abraham Raymond, a 25-year-old paramedic from Bnei Brak working with Magen David Adom (MDA), was arrested by the Jerusalem district youth police on Thursday on suspicion of committing sexual offenses against a 15-year-old boy. According to investigators, Raymond initially contacted the teenager via Instagram and later met him in person, arriving in an MDA vehicle. After their meeting, the paramedic allegedly returned the boy home and then committed the offenses in a parking lot near the boy's residence. Raymond's detention has been extended until the upcoming Monday.

The police have released Raymond's identifying details and urged anyone who believes they were harmed by him to contact the Shafat police station in the Jerusalem district or call the national police emergency number 100. Magen David Adom stated that it was informed of the case today and emphasized its zero-tolerance policy toward any sexual misconduct or inappropriate behavior, affirming full cooperation with law enforcement authorities.

This arrest follows a recent case last week where two MDA volunteers were detained on suspicion of raping a young woman in Beit Shemesh, who is also an MDA volunteer. The suspects denied the allegations. The woman, in her twenties, reported the incident which allegedly occurred about nine months ago during a social gathering in November 2025. She testified that she was drugged and lost consciousness, later discovering blood stains on the bed the following morning.
