MDA Paramedic from Bnei Brak Arrested for Sexual Offenses Against Minor in Jerusalem
Abraham Raymond, a 25-year-old paramedic from Magen David Adom (MDA) residing in Bnei Brak, was arrested by the Jerusalem District Youth Investigations Unit on suspicion of committing serious sexual offenses against a 15-year-old minor. The initial contact between Raymond and the minor occurred through Instagram, after which they met in person. The offenses allegedly took place in the parking lot near the minor's home, where Raymond had driven the boy back in his car.
Youth detectives operating in the area witnessed the incident, detained Raymond on the spot, and transferred him for interrogation. Due to concerns that there may be additional victims affected by Raymond's behavior, and following a court order, the police have released his identifying details and are urging anyone who believes they have been harmed by him to come forward to the Shafat police station or call emergency number 100.
Raymond's detention was extended by the court until Monday, July 20, 2026. The police continue their investigation, and Magen David Adom has yet to provide a response to requests for comment.
