Two MDA Volunteers Arrested Over Alleged Rape of Woman in Beit Shemesh
Two male volunteers in their twenties from Magen David Adom (MDA) were arrested on suspicion of raping a young woman in Beit Shemesh approximately nine months ago. The woman, also an MDA volunteer, reported that the men drugged and sexually assaulted her in her apartment in November 2025. The Beit Shemesh police station in the Jerusalem district launched an investigation in recent weeks following the report. After the woman filed a formal complaint and initial evidence was gathered, the two suspects were detained. Both men deny the allegations. The police requested a six-day extension of their detention, but the court ordered one suspect released to house arrest.
