Man Suspected of Sexually Assaulting MDA Volunteer Released Under Restrictions

A man suspected of sexually assaulting a Magen David Adom (MDA) volunteer in her Jerusalem-area apartment was released from custody on Thursday under restrictive conditions. The volunteer filed a police complaint about a month ago, recounting that during an evening in November, she began feeling disoriented. The next morning, she woke up to find blood stains on her bed. Judges noted that while the initial meeting at the volunteer's home was consensual, the investigation focuses on what exactly occurred afterward and whether it was consensual or involved impaired awareness.

Earlier this month, a 25-year-old Tel Aviv resident was arrested on suspicion of secretly filming a young woman in a fitting room at a Tel Aviv mall. An arrest warrant was issued against him for privacy violations and sexual offenses. The police released his photo to the public, leading to citizens identifying and reporting him, which helped authorities apprehend him.
