IDF Kills Hamas Military Propaganda Commander in Khan Yunis Airstrike
An Israeli airstrike targeted a vehicle in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza Strip, killing Anas Mahmoud Ahmad Nimer Hamdan. Palestinian reports identify Hamdan as the military propaganda commander of Hamas's Khan Yunis Brigade. He was reportedly married to the daughter of Raafe Salama, a former commander of the same brigade who was killed alongside Mohammed Deif about two years ago.
Earlier on Wednesday night, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) struck four Hamas weapons depots in central Gaza, destroying caches containing Kalashnikov rifles, RPGs, grenades, explosives, and other combat equipment. The IDF stated these weapons were intended for use against Israeli forces operating near the Gaza border and Israeli civilians. The destruction of these arsenals aimed to neutralize imminent threats.
The operation reflects ongoing Israeli efforts to dismantle Hamas's military capabilities and leadership within the Gaza Strip amid heightened tensions and security concerns.
