Former German Youth International Forward Linked to Maccabi Haifa Transfer
Maccabi Haifa is reportedly considering signing Maurice Malone, a 25-year-old German forward currently playing for Sturm Graz, to strengthen their attacking line. Malone, who stands 1.87 meters tall, could potentially replace Tribente Stewart at the club. He joined Sturm Graz last season after a €2 million transfer from Austria Vienna, where he scored four goals in half a season. Previously, Malone had a standout 2024/25 season with Austria Vienna, netting 12 goals across all competitions.
Malone developed in the German club Augsburg's youth system, where he was the top scorer in the Bundesliga youth league during one of his seasons. He has represented Germany at all youth levels, including three appearances and one goal for the under-21 national team. In 2023, he transferred from Augsburg to Swiss club Basel for €2 million, was loaned to Austria Vienna, who later purchased him for €1.2 million in January 2025, and then sold him to Sturm Graz a month later. Throughout his career, Malone's transfers have totaled approximately €5.55 million.
The potential signing reflects Maccabi Haifa's search for a reliable striker to boost their offensive options ahead of the upcoming season.
