Hapoel Tel Aviv Confirms Tiemoko Diarra Will Not Join, Pursues Other Candidates

Hapoel Tel Aviv has decided not to sign Tiemoko Diarra, a former Hapoel Haifa player, as he agreed to join Turkish club Kasımpaşa instead. The Israeli club had reached an agreement with French club Reims to acquire a winger intended to replace Louizos Louizo, who was recently sold to Red Star Belgrade. Diarra, who was one of the standout players in the Israeli league during his single season, scored four goals and provided four assists but failed to finalize personal terms with Hapoel Tel Aviv, unlike the Turkish club.

Hapoel Tel Aviv is now negotiating with other potential signings and had been willing to pay 1.5 million euros for Diarra, a sum they might spend on other players. The team is preparing for their upcoming Conference League qualifier match against Ludogorets on Thursday. Louizos Louizo's transfer to Red Star Belgrade brought Hapoel Tel Aviv approximately 3 million euros, marking one of the biggest deals in Israeli football history.
