Hapoel Tel Aviv Targets Signing of Tiémoué Diarra Before Training Camp
Hapoel Tel Aviv held an open training session for fans on Sunday, warmly welcoming new signings Yonatan Farber, Itay Shavit, and Shon Ben Nesher, as well as returning players from last season. The club is actively negotiating with Tiémoué Diarra, who is expected to replace Louizos Louizo, recently sold to Red Star Belgrade. The management aims to finalize Diarra's signing before the team departs for its training camp next week, allowing him to integrate ahead of the upcoming Conference League qualifiers against Bulgarian side Ludogorets.
Roy Korin was absent from the training session as he is currently in Germany recovering from an abdominal muscle injury. He has been granted an extension to his stay abroad and is expected to return to Israel next week. Last season, Korin played approximately 800 minutes in the league, scoring five goals and providing one assist, along with two goals in the State Cup. Hapoel Tel Aviv acquired him last summer from Maccabi Netanya for 150,000 euros.
Moiz Safra, the son of the club owner, attended the training but did not speak with the players. However, he addressed the fans, affirming the club's commitment to strengthening the squad. The club's focus remains on completing key signings ahead of the new season and European competition.
