Hapoel Tel Aviv Nears Signing Tiémoko Diarra Ahead of Slovakia Training Camp

Hapoel Tel Aviv is making efforts to finalize the signing of Guinean player Tiémoko Diarra before departing for their training camp. The team will fly to Slovakia on Monday for a ten-day camp, where they will play three friendly matches in preparation for their Europa Conference League qualifier against Beitar Jerusalem on July 18. The club recently played a 3-3 draw in their final warm-up match against Bnei Yehuda, with two goals scored from direct free kicks, though the coaching staff acknowledges there is room for improvement. Diarra's contract negotiations have progressed significantly, and despite interest from Turkish club Kasımpaşa, Hapoel Tel Aviv hopes his previous experience playing in Israel and his connection with defender Fernán Mayembo will help secure the deal. If completed, Diarra is expected to join the squad on the flight to Slovakia.
