Hezbollah Militants Flee Tunnel and Are Struck From the Air, Exclusive Footage Shows
Forces from the Commando Brigade combat team and the Yahalom Unit, under Division 36 and guided by Military Intelligence and the Northern Command, are working to deepen the clearing of the underground tunnel network beneath the Beaufort Ridge, which was planned and funded by the Iranian terror regime and is a significant asset in the organization’s conduct of the fighting.
During the clearing of the tunnel network, many weapons were found, including mortar shells, fragmentation grenades, RPG launchers, Kornet missiles, anti-aircraft machine guns and Kalashnikov rifles.
In recent days, during activity by the Egoz Unit to locate the shafts and underground routes, a drone from the Yahalom Unit identified militants in one of the underground routes. The militants fled and fired at the drone. Afterwards, the militants were identified together with additional militants who tried to flee the underground route. The Air Force, guided by the forces, struck and killed the militants.
