Tomas Satoransky Signs One-Year Deal with Hapoel Tel Aviv Basketball

Tomas Satoransky, the 34-year-old Czech point guard, has officially signed a one-year contract with Hapoel Tel Aviv, extending through the 2026/27 season. Standing 2.01 meters tall, Satoransky arrives after four seasons with Barcelona, where he was regarded as one of Europe's most experienced and respected guards. Last season in the EuroLeague, he averaged 7.0 points, 4.3 assists, and 3.4 rebounds per game, shooting an impressive 48.9% from beyond the arc.

Before returning to Barcelona in 2022, Satoransky spent six seasons in the NBA playing for the Washington Wizards, Chicago Bulls, New Orleans Pelicans, and San Antonio Spurs. His European career began in Prague, followed by Sevilla, before his initial move to Barcelona. Internationally, he is a key figure for the Czech national team, leading them to sixth place at the World Championship, seventh at the European Championship, and participation in the Tokyo Olympics.
