Israeli Forces Kill Smuggler Attempting to Bring Military Equipment into Gaza

Israeli forces killed Mustafa Oweizi, a smuggler involved in transferring military equipment to the Gaza Strip, during an operation in southern Gaza on Sunday. Oweizi had been active throughout the recent conflict in smuggling weapons to Hamas and was recently attempting to bring additional military gear to restore the terror group's military capabilities, violating the ceasefire agreement.

The equipment Oweizi tried to smuggle was intended for use by Hamas in maritime and aerial operations. The Israeli military stated that its Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire and will continue to act to eliminate any immediate threats.

In a separate airstrike, Israeli forces killed two Hamas militants in northern Gaza who posed immediate threats to soldiers. Among those killed were Hassan Al-Razina, who attempted to plant explosives near the "yellow line" border, and Muhammad Fayoumi, a Nukhba unit operative involved in planning terror attacks against Israeli forces.
