Two Bnei Brak Residents Detained for Illegal Entry into Palestinian City of Nablus

Two residents of Bnei Brak were detained by Israeli forces after illegally entering the Palestinian city of Nablus (Shchem), an area classified as Area A under full Palestinian Authority control. The incident occurred on Monday when the two were spotted by IDF troops as they exited the city. Following their apprehension by police from the Judea and Samaria district, they were taken for questioning at the Ariel police station.

During the investigation, authorities discovered this was not the first time the individuals had entered Nablus in violation of military orders and Israeli law. After the interrogation, the two were brought before a court which ordered their release under restrictive conditions. Additionally, their vehicle was confiscated for 60 days in accordance with legal provisions.
